The local (and perhaps nationwide) Post Offices have had a few small changes. Over all nothing huge, but there's one that really cracks me up.

In order for the offices to be handicap accessible (which is yes, important) many had to exchange their old lobby 'desk' for new handicap accessible ones. Great! I don't have a huge issue with it, well, until a 6'2" gentleman tries to actually use the desk. Where before he had no issue, now he needs to lean WAY over, while the persons using wheelchairs (mind you, I have NEVER seen one at the PO where I work) can easily reach and use the tables now.

So in an effort to help the 'little people' (really no pun is intended there) they have completely forgotten about the 'average'.
